Royal Canin Digest Sensitive Loaf in Sauce wet cat food is formulated for cats 1 year and older with sensitive stomachs.
Cats can be very good at hiding digestive upsets. However, you can find clues in their litter box. Lots of stinky stools could mean your cat has a sensitive stomach and digestive tract. And regular regurgitation may indicate a more serious issue, so you should consult your veterinarian.
Royal Canin Digest Sensitive Loaf in Sauce wet cat food is formulated to provide digestive support for your adult cat with a sensitive tummy. Highly digestible proteins promote digestive health and a balanced intestinal tract so that your cat enjoys their food comfortably. The high-protein formula also helps your cat maintain a healthy weight. And a uniquely balanced blend of vitamins and minerals promotes your pet’s overall physical health and wellness. Try pairing with Royal Canin Digestive Care dry cat food for a meal your cat will love.

My poor cat has IBSD and struggles with the “D” part of it. This cat food has helped with throwing up but not “D”. However the dry version of this specialty food has stopped the “D”. It is SO expensive and only available in 3oz cans.

This seems to be a decent food for my elderly cats, both of whom have digestive issues. I can’t really see any difference in them on this or I/D, I just want to do what’s best for them.
Although they generally seem to like it better than I/D, one of them seems to be getting tired of it. This isn’t the end of the world considering the new tiny size of the “large” cans.
Cats need a certain amount of food; making the can smaller and hoping we don’t notice really isn’t practical. My cats are the same size as they were last month. If you also feed dry, you may not mind. Since dry food can be pretty tough on cats’ digestive systems when they have inflammatory bowel, I would have preferred the cans stay the same size.
Edited to add: Royal Canin offers to types of this food, and their titles are confusing. This is “loaf in sauce” which is a pate and has no discernible sauce whatsoever. While this is a poor description, if you receive pate it does NOT mean it is counterfeit. I sympathize with those who have received bad batches; I have not.
As of 8/6/2021 Amazon is listing this food as unavailable. As much as the shrinking of the cans frustrates me, I do wish they would stock this food again.

Very happy with this purchase! My kitty loves it and doesn’t throw up after eating it. Buying in bulk really saves money!

All 3 cats eat it and I was so happy that my cat with a sensitive stomach would eat it & not vomit, I didn’t care about anything else. He’s been scratching & kicking his fur which should have told me to check the ingredients. That’s when I noticed the chicken. I’ll be searching for something new and be more choosey.

This food seems to be the best for my two cats, however, lately I’ve gotten a few cases in which the cans contain very dry food as though they forgot to add water when making it. The batch number of the bad batch is 028B2NSC01. I was able to make it palatable by adding and mixing in some water with the first case or so but with the last one the cats still don’t like it even after water is added. I ordered a case from that pet food website, and it’s of the normal consistency, but I also ended up with some of the extra dry food from the local pet food store. I need to call Royal Canin and see about getting a refund if they have some sort of guarantee. This food is too expensive for the quality to be this inconsistent. I’m surprised they haven’t ordered a recall for the defective food. When you get a good case, it’s excellent, but when you get a bad case, it’s a total waste of money.

Our cat will be 19 on 7/4/2021. He has enjoyed his food with great pleasure for many years. A couple of months ago, he started howling every time he used his box. We changed his food to Royal Canin Feline Care Nutrition Digest Sensitive. With the first can, the howling stopped. This cat food is expensive, so we alternate the Royal Canin and some other brands, and he has not howled since then. The 4 stars are because of the price.
