I’ve been feeding my dog, “mighty dog” food, and it takes him forever to eat it. I also got him another one for other puppies and that too, takes forever for him to consume. But when I got this in the mail, my 8 week old dachshund went crazy over these as soon as he smelled the inside of the bag. He was jumping on me, barking to have some, he fell in love with the smell, the taste, and goes bananas over them. These make super awesome training treats too (because he loves them so much). Since he has so much other food, I’m going to use this as his training bites. Only 4 days at home and he now LOVES his kennel because of these, he LOVES peeing outside because of these. This is our new best friend. I’ll be ordering more! I wish these can come in big bags.

Our puppy always enjoyed this dry food and cleaned her bowl every time, and it seemed to be great for her fur. But she began looking for and eating dirt from the ground after a few weeks on it, and the vet told us it was probably due to a mineral deficiency. When we changed it over to a different brand, she stopped doing it. This food didn’t seem to be enough for our puppy’s need but maybe it will be for yours. One bag of this lasted about a month with our miniature Dachshund puppy.

My pup loves this stuff! I tried feeding him Candifae Pure salmon and oatmeal and he would not touch it. It had a ball shape and I could tell he was having a hard time picking it up. Knowing he was a dachshund mix, I got this stuff and he inhales it. The shape and small size is perfect for his mouth. Works great for training too as I can use the kibble like treats since he loves it so much!

We slowly transitioned from wet to this food and she loves it! Hasn’t experienced any side effects like the itching or biting of her feet I read on another review. We’re going to keep her on it for now. Btw her poops are solid with this food which makes me happy when she has her accidents inside
