We have a large breed dog with a sensitive tummy (he’s on a prescription diet for life). We use the Royal Canin Digestive Care dry food for his treats, for training and on walkies. All our dogs love it, and buying the big bag is much more cost-effective than purchasing lots of little bags of training treats. So happy Royal Canin has put this food back in production!

This food instantly fixed my 16 month old Dutchie/GSD mix’s chronic soft stool and frequent poor quality bowel movements. He was on Royal Canin adult food, having had no issues with Royal Canin large breed puppy food. Since his stomach was already upset when the new food got here I didn’t bother switching him to the sensitive stomach food slowly but opted to change to the new food all at once and late the next day all of his issues were gone.

I bought this for my young male Doberman who has some stomach issues. He loves the kibbles as well as the corresponding canned food, and his diarrhea has completely disappeared. However……..my older female, pickiest eater in the world, LOVES this stuff! More importantly, we are seeing a huge difference in her playfulness, energy, and attitude. We are on our second bag, and while I would rather fix my dogs homemade chicken, turkey, and such, they PREFER the Royal Canin kibbles and canned. Crazy, but true.

We purchased this food to solve loose stools in both our Golden Retrievers. We had them on Royal Canin Golden Retriever formula which is Great Food also, but caused loose stools in both Goldens. We tried the Digestive Care but still had the stool problems. We since changed to another brand from Chewy and have had good results.

My amazing pup passed away last year, she loved this food! I had a brand new box sitting inside our front door for at least 4 months. it was her last auto-ship after she had passed. I finally called to return it and they gave me a full refund, no questions asked. She was very nice and told me i can donate the bag to a shelter. Amazing job, Thank you!

We rescued a Great Dane that was very malnourished and was having very bad stomach issues. After weeks of not knowing what to do, the vet prescribed this food. We now have our other Great Dane on it as well. It’s pricey but worth the money.

My dog is on fortiflora and other digestive supplements. I tried Hill’s Sensitive Stomach and Skin and there was room for improvement from his stools and I think he was developing a rash. I had him on Royal Canin Large puppy food throughout the first 12 months and he loved every single kibble of it until I left it on the porch one day(in Miami) and it spoiled. So I blamed it on his stomach. I went to Hill’s, Acana, back to Hill’s and I just discovered Royal Canin digestive support. I figured he deserved the most expensive digestive help food on the market and I am extremely pleased on his stools SO FAR. I put him on it cold turkey with antibiotics that were from the rash(Hill’s SS&S) and he pooped the most normal poop this morning, finally, on his last round of antibiotics. I’m looking forward to the rest of them.

My pitbull mix breed dog had parvo before we brought him home as a pup. Now he is almost 2. We have gone through about every problem you can imagine trying to find a good diet for him. All the food that he loved to eat gave him really bad gastro problems, I will spare you the details. Then we tried several cheaper options formulated for sensitive stomachs. They successfully helped with the stomach problems but he would refuse to eat them, he had no taste for them and would only eat just enough to not starve basically. The Royal Canin Digestive Care is the best of both worlds for our little man. He loves his dinner and can’t wait for me to say “okay GO!” and licks the bowl clean. He is still a little gassy, but all other stomach problems have gone away since we made the switch. Thanks!

This food has been a life saver for my pup. Sadly this product has been out of stock for a while. Trying to get my pup to adjust to a new food has been hard on him even with the recommended transition of food.

My shepherd mix liked this food, and seemed to do well enough on it for the short amount of time he was eating it. I like that the pieces are large enough for him to need to take the time to chew. The small bag that I bought had corn listed as a second ingredient, which was not listed in the ingredient list on this website and it wasn’t listed on the Royal Canin website. I had to contact Royal Canin twice to get a response from them whether or not that was going to be a new formula. I do believe it is the new formula for the large digestive care and websites haven’t been updated yet. Having said that, when I tried to get the larger bag of this formula they were all out of it on this website. So I got a large bag of the German Shepherd formula and we’ll see how that goes, since my dog really likes the wet German Shepherd formula. I’ll review the large bag of German Shepherd dry dog food when my dog’s been on it longer than he was on this digestive care formula.
