Preparation of A2 Platinum Premium Follow on Formula Stage 2
Step 1
Always wash hands with soap and water and dry using a clean cloth. Clean the preparation surface thoroughly before preparing a feed.
Step 2
Clean all feeding equipment in hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Next, sterilize all feeding equipment by submerging bottles, teats and lids in boiling water for 5 minutes, or use an approved sterilizer.
Step 3
Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Refer to the feeding guide above to check how much powder and water is needed. This is a general feeding guide only. Infants may need more or less formula. Pour the correct amount of previously boiled (now cooled) water into the sterilized bottle.
Step 5
Use only the enclosed scoop, fill scoop and level off using the built-in leveler on the can. Avoid compacting powder.
Step 6
Add the exact amount of powder to the water in the bottle. Always add 1 level scoop of powder for each 50ml of water. Cap the bottle and mix thoroughly by shaking gently or swirling the bottle to dissolve the powder.
Step 7
Check temperature of feed on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel warm, but cool is better than too hot. Feed your baby immediately. Discard any feed that has not been consumed within 1 hour.

At The a2 Milk Company, we go to great lengths to ensure that our a2 Milk® is from cows that naturally produce milk with only the A2 protein type.
Our farmers hand select cows that naturally produce only the A2 protein type by using a simple and non-invasive genetic test that analyses a hair or tissue sample from each cow. These cows are then milked separately.
Testing
Testing is an integral part of the product development process. At multiple stages along the product journey each individual ingredient and packaging component are appropriately tested, as well as the final product.
This ensures all our a2 Platinum® products meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Independent product verification
The a2 Milk Company employs an independent third party to verify our products. Oritain is a food-traceability expert and tests samples of a2 Platinum® products it obtains straight from retail shelves to confirm that these products are True a2®. This testing is scientific, ongoing and completely independent.

After trialing a few different formulas to supplement my breast milk, my more than 6 month old baby finally accepted this A2 platinum premium formula. It is more expensive than the previous brands I was trialling but there was good research on the benefits that this brand can offer and my baby actually drank it.

I heard some babies refuse bottles around 7,8 months and it has never been a problem for her. She absolutely loves her solids and milk time. A2 must be just really tasty. After our BF journey ended suddenly, we were left desperate at 2am for a formula. We opted for A2 as it is one protein and had good reviews. We grabbed a can an haven’t looked back. Bub is now 1 and onto stage 3 (while we wean) and he’s had no issues ever. It has no smell, barely a taste and goes down well. Only issue is stock has been horrible to get, while other brands have been plentiful. But A2 direct shop gave us free shipping while grocery stores waited for stock.

We continued on from stage 1 to stage 2 for our son with this one. Once we went on A2 he finally started to put weight on and was nice and healthy. The only problem with this brand is the lack of stock available in store. It can be very stressful when you realise you are down to one can and can’t find anymore out there. It’s a great product though so doesn’t surprise me it’s in high demand.
