Royal Canin Digestive Care Dry Cat Food is formulated for cats 1 year and older with sensitive stomachs.
Cats can be very good at hiding what’s ailing them. However, you can find clues in their litter box. Lots of stinky stools could mean your cat has a sensitive stomach and digestive tract. Sometimes regurgitation can be an indicator that your cat is eating too fast to even digest and absorb the nutrients they need. Regular regurgitation may indicate a more serious issue, and you should consult your veterinarian.
Royal Canin Digestive Care dry cat food is made for cats with sensitive stomachs that tend to scarf down and regurgitate their food. The exclusive ring-shaped cat kibble encourages your cat to slow down and chew thoroughly. And highly digestible proteins, including a blend of prebiotics and dietary fibers, help balance the intestinal tract for healthy digestion. This precise diet is proven to be effective after 10 days with over 95% healthy stool quality. Try pairing with Royal Canin Digest Sensitive wet cat food formulas for a meal your cat will love.

My cats were stressed after my boyfriend who loved them moved out. I also got them new wet food to try. I think both of these factors caused diarrhea. I thought we would need to go to the vet, and my kitties are still a bit wild after the shelter. I ordered this dry food as my last hope and gave them only this food for a few days + boiled water only (cooled, of course). And it helped! Thank you very much! Heath first and a higher price is ok if my kitties feel well.

Found this cat food so good for our cat that has a very twitchy stomach (yaks up a lot).
Both my cats loved it, just wish it were not so expensive!

I am a barn cat adopted from a rescue place and have grown into a nice pet, my owner says, considering she has always owned pedigree cats. She feeds me well. When I began to up-chuck my food, she became concerned and changed me to an easily digestible food. You wouldn’t think a barn cat had a sensitive stomach. I tolerated the food, then my owner discovered probiotics, and I have a food that I love. She thought enough of me to buy Royal Canin, like I’m Royal or something. I love it. She loves that I love it. I guess she will have to give my other food away, WHICH IS FINE WITH ME!

My cats love this dry food, and I’ve ordered it several times. Now, when I go to purchase it again the price has almost doubled with third parties controlling it. Sadly, Amazon, you will not get my repeat order. I’ve purchased it at the reasonable price at PetSmart.

I’m furious with Amazon for packing this with 6 other items in the same box and delaying delivery for days around Christmas when it was in our town waiting to be delivered, and supposedly “out for delivery.” But that aside, this is a very good product that has complemented Royal Canin’s wet version of “Digest Sensitive” and their “Adult Instinctive.” I don’t buy the wet on Amazon because the cans are sold in bulk. But anyone who has a cat who vomits frequently (to the point where you are going to take him in for expensive and traumatic veterinary tests, scans and blood work) might want to try this first. It has a healing calming effect. It became obvious after putting our cat on this, that he truly had an irritated digestive tract. This dry food–and ONLY this particular Digestive Care version–has a unique thin and flat round shape with a hole in the center. That is one key to helping your cat keep down the dry crunchy food–cats chew it more completely. I honestly have found that giving mostly wet Royal Canin in the formulas I described, combined with a little of this dry food given in small quantities at other times as a big treat (he loves it), has almost completely, if not completely, solved his vomiting issues.

I’m thankful for this well priced item with a reasonable expiry date – my cats fav. Wish they would accurately update the size listed – it’s the large size as pictured

I have 4 cats and 3 of them eat this brand and blend for their tummy issues. They’ve been treated for everything medically regarding their tummies and I’ve tried other foods and either they hated the taste or the food did not help. Since switching my cats to this food their tummy issues have substantially decreased or have become non existent. And they seem to love the taste and crunch of this. They love the shape of them too! The shape is meant for them to eat slower etc. but one of the kitties is obsessed and plays with her food before she eats it. Haha.
