This is literally the only dog food my 15 year old Pekingese has ever liked. He is a table scraps eater, i started baking him chicken breast and with our family dinners I always reserved him a piece of whatever meat or fish I would cook for the day, so he’s quite spoiled but as I got busier with work I started cooking less and eating out, I always had a bowl of kibble for him which he never touched while I was out, until I got him royalcanin special! He loves it and I’m happy he is eating while I’m at work!

I thought my dogs hated croquettes but it was because we always gave them pedigree or dog chow, my dogs eat these happy as if it were human food worth totalemte the price, also one that this recently operated served him a lot to solve his digestion problems, I will give you these for life! It’s two dachshunds.

This is the only dog food my poodle will eat. I’ve tried others which were much more expensive, but she is just not interested in them. I always end up give the other bags away. I especially like this size because it doesn’t sit around for a year or more.

This food is what I help my dog get out of the gastric problems it brought and loves it.

I have a very sensitive stomach picky eater. He likes this dry kibble. I have tried many brands to find one that he will eat. I often have to supplement his food with something I make, such as half a scrambled egg.

My boyfriend and I have a rescue dachshund who is around ten or eleven years old. He’s extremely picky (sometimes even rejecting pieces of meat I may offer him while I’m cooking), so we’ve tried a number of foods. This is the only dry dog food we’ve found that he will eat willingly, and sometimes at all. He has pretty sensitive teeth, which were badly decayed from before we’ve had him, so when he’s fed other brands, if he’ll eat them at all, he eats so little that he rapidly begins to lose weight.
Because this food is on the pricier side, we’ve actually started making a homemade dog food for him to account for a portion of his calories– thankfully, he eats it happily. He still gets a serving of this daily, however, to make sure that his nutrition is balanced.

We’ve been feeding our Ori-Pei Royal Canin since we brought her home. She absolutely loves the taste and we love that it provides her with all the vitamins and nutrition she needs to stay healthy and happy. I believe that diet is key to keeping a healthy coat and teeth and our little Ori-Pei has both.
This Royal Canin Mini Adult Special Dry Dog Food is for picky eaters and/or dogs with a sensitive digestive tract. This one is her favorite! It’s perfect for dogs that are 10 months to 8 years and are no more than 22 pounds. Their entire line caters to specific breeds, ages and sizes. You’re sure to find one that your dog will love. Even if he or she has a picky palate!
Our dog is part of our family and her health and happiness are extremely important to us. I want to thank Royal Canin for making it just as important to them!

No problem transitioning! Very impressed actually, as I have a 1 1/2 year old Papillon who has a super, ultra sensitive stomach and is a very picky eater. She didn’t second guess the food and dove right in which is surprising.
The size of the kibble could be a tad smaller for chewing/digestion reasons for smaller breeds. We think half the size of the existing kibble would be perfect to amplify the product.
In addition to anyone from Royal Canin reading this: Is there ever going to be an organic, grain/gluten free dry food available that is all plant based set to hit the shelves anytime soon?
Let me know if anyone comes across an organic/gluten free brand that works with sensitive breeds and has some sort of plant based hemp omegas for joint/arthritis already in the food (not treats). Thanks everyone!

I have 2 min pin brothers who eat this food for breakfast every morning (dinner is their can wet food) and there is no other time in the day that I can count on as much as their anticipation of that breakfast for them to be so visibly excited! We had had a min pin before them who was very picky and had tried just about every type of dog food, dry or wet, when we finally found this “mini special” and she took it right away! So then later when we got these two doggies it was only logical that we would get it for them too. They also loved it right away. At the same time as they apparently love the taste, it packs in all the nutrition they need within a very small amount, which I like too.

I dislike that they quit making it. Or I guess they did. I can’t find it anywhere. Very hard on my dog. She would only eat it. Now she hardly eats. And I’m going crazy finding something else she likes. Really disappointed that they don’t make it anymore.

my dog has been consuming it for about 3 to 4 years, I give it the recommended dose, and it stays in its weight, the stool stink a little less, and they are solid.
in general a very good quality food.

My puppy is adopted, and he was not used to croquettes, he only ate food waste, so it had been very difficult for me to like croquettes. This product does like it, although it does not jump from enthusiasm, at least it eats them.
