Good dog food for my dog. A little pricey

I was only able to get the 2 1/2 lb bag which was over $20. Very expensive. My dog loves the food! Hope to get the 10lb bag next time.

Tried this brand, because my dog is very picky about dry food. It turned out to be less picky about this food, especially if I dip a few of the kibbles in water. Aside from having a little easier time feeding the dog, I can’t say if the food is any better or worse when compared to all the others I’ve tried in the past.
The first bag I got had a few small triangle shaped kibbles in it mixed in with oval-shaped ones. The second bag which I got about three weeks later had only oval ones as pictured on the bag. Both were new style packaging, with same expiration date.

I have two Maltese dogs and have had many growing up. My second Maltese dog has a more sensitive stomach than my older one. We tried a variety of foods over about a year and Royal Canin was the best for stomach. Our vet recommended it and I really wanted Purina pro instead, which another vet at our clinic also recommended. Purina pro is cheaper! But Royal Canin suited their stomachs more. I read a TON about dog food ingredients and don’t be put off by the corn or judgy people about the ingredient list. Look up real research by several vet schools that explain what the terms and ingredients mean/their impact. Just because the label sounds good to us, doesn’t mean it actually matters for dog nutrition. I moved my older dog from blue Buffalo chicken and rice with grain and she eats a lot more now. Even though her stomach wasn’t sensitive, she likes how this food tastes much better. I feel bad waiting so long and buying into marketing before she got food she actually likes to eat!!

I have a 4# yorkie and she has become a very picky eater. She has lost most of her teeth and I have found that she does better with this brand of food.

My little dude is a picky eater. One min he loves the food I’m giving him and next thing I know he is refusing to eat. With this food he doesn’t seem to mind it or tire of it. Also I’ve noticed a big difference in his bowel movements and I’ll just say that they have changed for the better in that area. This food is a little more expensive but absolutely worth it.

This product is way expensive and Amazon sent me a torn bag. I’m quite disappointed as usually they take care not to do that. It’s obvious the bag was likely torn as they opened their boxes.

My dog loves this food, and I feel so good feeding it to her because it’s designed for her breed. Shipping was quick and allows for subscriptions

After the scare with the grain free foods, my vet put out an email and this was one of the recommended foods. When I try something new on our two Maltese dogs, unless it is pure meat, it may take some thought and hunger for them to give it a try. This food went in the bowl and they ate it up. So, yeah, I’m pretty happy with this food, and they are too. Also, they are small dogs, so the bag lasted about a month. I give them half and half of Stella and Chewies and the Royal Canin Maltese dry food.

If you are buying this because your Maltese is a picky eater, this will not solve that problem. She chowed on this for the first week or two. Then once we bought a large bag (go figure) she went back to her old ways of refusing to eat. High rating anyways because they designed it well, very easy for her to chew
